This year, our Annual Pink Out will be a little different as we aim to raise awareness and support for ovarian cancer by wearing TEAL. This is just a small way to show our love and encouragement for our own Alyssa Branam, who is courageously fighting this disease with such grace!

📣 Join HHS DECA in Making a Difference for Roane County's Pets! 🐾
We’re thrilled to announce our Pet Food Drive running from October 30 through November 1! This is a fantastic chance for our school community to come together and support the Roane County Animal Shelter. Here’s what we’re collecting:
- 🐶 Wet & Dry Dog Food
- 🐱 Wet Cat Food
- 🐾 Cat Litter
- 🎾 Pet Toys
Every donation will go directly to help pets in need, providing essential food and supplies to the shelter. Let’s rally together to give these animals a brighter day and better care!
Drop-Off Locations: Look for collection bins in the school’s main lobby and outside the DECA office.
Spread the Word! Share this with friends and family who’d like to help.
Thank you for your compassion and generosity! Let’s make this drive a huge success for our community’s pets!

On Saturday, October 5th, HHS Students shared their talents at the annual Oak Ridge Street Painting Festival. Congratulations to Dashia Prajapati, who was awarded First Place for her artwork "The Eye of the Storm."
Since 1999, the Rotary Club of Oak Ridge has sponsored the annual Oak Ridge Street Painting Festival.
This festive occasion raises money for scholarships for students at Roane State Community College, helping provide an educated workforce for businesses moving to our region.
The festival allows local artists of all ages to showcase their talents and provides a fun time for the Oak Ridge community. In the past 25 years, your generous donations have allowed Roane State to award over 100 scholarships totaling over $200,000!

HHS Football Spotlight Tonight!
Don’t miss the action tonight at 8:00 p.m. on BBB Communications as Exigent Sports sits down with Head Coach Travis Tapp, Seniors Grayson Kreis and Zac Mahoney, and Junior Cam Anderson to talk all things football!

Friday Night: Senior Night & Historic Rivalry Game!
Join us as we celebrate the Class of 2025! Our seniors will be honoring the educators who have made a lasting impact on their educational journey.
But that’s not all—this Friday marks the 106th meeting of two teams who have faced off every year since 1924, making this the longest high school football rivalry in Tennessee! Don’t miss this incredible night of tradition, tribute, and football history.

For the 2nd Year, the Student Ambassadors have selected El Cants Mexican Restaurant as a valued Community Partner.
Their support and generosity significantly impact our students and staff, from being a favorite after school or before a ballgame place for grabbing a bite or providing lunch for our faculty. We are incredibly fortunate to have a local business like El Cants that cares deeply about our community.

Congratulations to Ms. Sofia! The Student Ambassadors chose her for the heartfelt
dedication & service she pours out at Harriman High School. Whether creating artwork for the auditorium, hanging student work in the hallway, or helping to make Homecoming or Prom a bit more festive, her willingness to go above and beyond ensures that we have a beautiful and inviting environment for our students and staff.

Zombie apocalypse? The resurrection of Michael Myers? NO! It is Ms. Sofia's Art Classes
learning the art of mask-making. It's cool but also a little creepy when you see them in the hallway!

Did you know that HHS has great Career and Technical Student Organizations?
Students in DECA, FCCLA, HOSA, and SkillsUSA learn to be leaders in our school, community, and future careers. These students also compete in regional competitions; several have even made it to Nationals!

Seniors from Ms. King's Senior Transition class have been hard at work applying to colleges and applying for scholarships. Some of these students have already received acceptance letters and scholarships for the next step in their education journey! We can't wait to see where they decide to go and what their future holds! #classof2025 #educationmatters #70x25

You make sure our halls are clean and bright, trash is emptied, and the messes we make you help undo - Ms. Stephanie, HHS would be lost without you!

Please note: Voting for HHS Homecoming Queen will end at 6pm. Students should check their school email to vote.
